OK, how about some new degree programs that combine Humanities / Social Science with STEM? Examples: Nanotechnology, Safety / OSHA, Health Care Management (includes Ethics and end of life issues & legalistics), Technical Graphics Design . . .
If we wanted to be Synergistic with what is in the area around us and response to the industry's needs we could consider developing a program that includes an degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. This interdisciplinary degree could ensures students graduate with a strong business foundation and a real understanding of the competitive industry and its demands.
